About me

From the city of Reims, Myslaure emerged, cradled by the melodies of the greats. The symphonies of Beethoven and Mozart, the rhythms of Haitian music, and the soulful hymns of her family's church, all wove together, a tapestry of sound that stirred her spirit. The whispers of the universe of music beckoned her, and at the tender age of six, she began her journey into its depths, exploring the piano's secrets. With a curious heart, she also found music in the everyday objects that surrounded her.

As she grew, her path led her to the world of jazz, where she honed her rhythmic skills and expanded her palette of sounds. With each step, she crafted her unique voice, a reflection of her personality, where words pale in comparison.

Her quest for knowledge led her to the tutelage of greats like Django Bates, Ralph Alessi, and Dejan Terzic. Along the way, she delved into the intricacies of harmony, musical writing, and free improvisation. Her journey culminated in a master's degree in jazz performance from the Hochschule Der Kunste in Bern.

With every note she plays, Myslaure weaves spells of enchantment, a testament to her sensitivity and deep connection to the universe of music.

Teaching

Teacher for private lessons for nearly 12 years, I provide piano courses for all ages (from 6 years old). I travel at home for classes around Strasbourg and Bern. Possibility of courses in videoconference for those who already have a level.

Coaching

Dimensions provide coaching sessions for groups of amateur instrumentalists. The goal is to work on listening, cohesion between the members of the group and good humor.

Prepared piano workshops

It's also possible to work together about improvisation with prepared piano. You only need to contact me if you want more info. A representation after some time practicing is possible.

Prepared piano project

What led me to start the prepared piano project finally goes back to the first years of my life. Everything was an excuse to make rhythm. The years of practicing were essential to the better understanding of the musical universe in which I was immersed by default. I have made this area my own to the point that I cannot detach myself from it. I learned to make the link between the abstract and the concrete by associating the sounds of everyday life and the atmospheres by imagining how they would sound on the instrument.
